2009 CBR 600 $3000 a good deal?

I found this today and other than the color which could be repainted I think this is a steal if it is a legit ad.

it's too good to be true and the ad mentions twice the clear title of the bike. Also no phone number and the bike is missing license plate which is weird for the bike with 508 miles...

There are a number of things that made me question this as well, however these are desperate times for some people that have run into some bad luck it would not be inconceivable that a good deal may come along once in awhile. That said it is always buyer beware. I sent a email to this person so will see what happens (most likely nothing) and all i did was waste 4 minutes so no lost there.

Good luck with that! I wouldn't be surprised if she/he asks for your SSN and bank account info

Yeah basically desperate market or not, any dealer in the world would buy that for 5k cash at the drop of a hat. Possibly more.

The response LMAO case closed.
Hi ,
The bike is in perfect condition, no electric problems, no accidents/liens/loans. No scratches, never been repainted. I have all the bike manuals, title, documents. I'm selling this bike because my child of only 19 died 4 months ago in a car accident,a drunk driver hit him and his fiancee. He was with his fiance's car coming to our home at his little brother birthday of 10 years old. The bike belonged to my son and it brings me bad memories and that's the reason I want to sell it. The last price is $3,000. Me and my husband travel a lot with our business and we want to make this deal through eBay's Buyer Protection Program.I just need your full name, full shipping address, home/cell # so I can open a case.(with no further obligation or fees).eBay will contact you with all the Transaction/shipping details you will need.We will take care of the shipping so don't worry.
We hope to hear soon from you.

Thank you for your interest!

I could hear a violin laying in the background while reading it.
Make her/him work a little. Ask for photo of her/him holding the bikes title on one hand and a current newspaper on the other. Also wearing a bikini if her BMI is as good as Bevo's $600 BMI
