Sat. Feb 12th Fayetteville Lunch Run

Early forecast looks good for the day and it would be nice to do a cruise out there for lunch. If you haven't been to F'ville it has some of the best roads in the area, great scenery, and lunch at Orsak's.

Meet at 99 & fry heb gas 10am, ksu 10:30.
We can split into groups if needed and of course all bikes/riders are welcome. We will have a dedicated sweeper and no rider will be left behind.

I run a moderate pace that is fun, but not knee-dragging or trying to set land-speed records. In other words noob friendly but still fun for those with experience. Any faster riders could form a group and go ahead of us.

I havent been on the forest ride either - so i didnt know...
plus - i guess since it would be my first group ride - i didnt know the rules to the set up (like not posting what the route is... lol.. why though?)

anyway - final question..
is the ride moderate enough for a 2 up? may bring wifey.

posting routes here is bad because cops read some of the rides and events section.

always ride at a pace that is comfortable to you... never try to keep up with anyone!

We don't like posting up the route because we don't like advertising to the police.

Since the route isn't being posted up, I'm going to operate under the assumption that this will be a "spirited" ride.....so leave wifey poo at home.

But with that said, any well put together ride will have a leader and a sweeper, so no one is left behind so that everyone can ride their own pace.

The pace will be moderate but still fun, if you and wifey are comfortable 2up bring her, we won't be setting any records or dragging knee.

Nah mainly the first reason.

Plus if needed we can break into groups based on pace I'll be the slow old guy.

It is forecasted to be much nicer this time next Saturday. If needed we'll push the meet time back a little to allow it to warm up and modify the route a little to compensate.

It'll be a nice ride so I hope everyone still comes out, going to try to arrange for a couple of prizes to be given away at lunch.

I'll post more details as the week progresses.
