Not if you plan on riding it again on the street.... At least with a Hays you can convert it back and forth from semi slider to normal.... That would be a better setup....unless you are just gonna drag race....And even if that is the case, a slider will spank a multi...

Your problem is not the clutch anyway, its your throttle. Even if you had a slider you wouldn't wack the throttle open on the line....

MANY people go high 1.4x 60's with a stock clutch w/HD springs... especially at 65"....

Lastly, you won't like the maintenance of a Multi-stage or slider....(clutch pack maintenance and weight/arm adjustment every time at the track)

No. It's a chain for the 50. Those are my sockets. Yours are std. Those are metric.

Stage 2 port. I already had the s/s valves from a gen 1 and APE 65# springs. Webb cams .415/.395
I think Carolina said Wiliford is doing the port work.

That is a great price for all that. How long did they let you borrow that glass for?

I guess it's on permanent loan. It's for a good cause. It stays in the freezer till it's needed for ice cold beer. I consider them a sponsor of my garage.

The tranny needs to be put back together . Then we are gonna flip it and pull the top end. I plan to put the block and pistons on and send the head out. I cant do it this w.e. and Im fixing to have a small shut down. It could be another month before its done.

There have been some Gen2 blocks that have cracked after being bored out. Some dealers say it's not a real problem. Some say it's only an issue if you spray it. Well I am gonna spray it and I don't want a cracked block. If it's a 5% chance it's too great for me. I know of one that cracked after dyno time only and he never even sprayed it.
