Not exactly sure when or where. I bouncing back and forth between Cheese and Tejas. I would much rather get Cheese to do it. It's a PITA though. Tejas is 15 min. from the house.

I have tried 3 different target AFR's. I first tried 12.8:1. It ran ok. There was a few boggy areas but it ran well over 5k. The roll on in top gear was a little sluggish for 1 or 2 seconds then it took off. I then tried 12.5. The bike was real sluggish below 5k and from a stop it was kinda jerky. It ran better at 12.8. I tried 13.0 today. I data logged for a target of 13.0 for the 30mi. trip to work. I ran it to the top out to make sure I got data all the way to 11000. I plugged in the tune before I left work. WALLA! It seems to like the leaner is meaner approach. It should be a quick dyno session.

Mine was mapped at 13.4 and I have tried running it richer but it just slows down.Lee Schiertz recommended leaning it out a little at a time til it loses MPH and then back up a little.Nitrous is a whole nother story

I have been talking with Johnny about the tune on mine using ECU Editor and fully programming the Microtech. Unfortunately, he is completely tied up with the TX Mile participants right now, so mine will get pushed out a bit.

I am not sure if there is anyone else in the state that I would want to trust to do the tune right on the turbo 1000.

There were some motorcycles at the dragstrip portion of TX2K11.What is the .005 clearance marked on the cam by the cam position pin?

I assume that's the measurement on the first valve. I didn't measure or mark any of it.

I'm hoping for 220 at the wheel. Some make a bit more and some a bit less. 220 would be 270 on the spray. It should take 1000+hp car to be close to even.

Not according to the TX2K11 videos...

The vids show numerous modded bixes getting spanked by 6-700WHP cars. Maybe the bikes were not really trying. Hmmmm....
