No wow. It's not like it's a new head. And they keep the cams as cores. Believe it or now there are places that wanted more. Like 500 more.

Head looks good. The intake ports are a little more coarse then what I would prefer.....but sometimes thats just a CNC port job for you....They never flow as good as a true hand ported head by a GOOD head guy but......they are more consistant from port to port if the port design is correct. The surface of the deck of the head looks good, as does the bead blasted outside.

Its also cool that they put the sprockets on and tack welded them for us...... Hopefully they shimmed the cams right. Sucker should run real nice.....

BTW Roy Boy is hot on your tail.....He is jonesing to build a bad boy.....Its going to be my "signature build".....Prolly happen during the winter...

Real nice. Now Alan just needs to charge you a few thousand dollars for labor and make sure you get at least 5 passes out of it. Then we will be on the right track.

(by the way, valve seals came in. Shouldn't be too much longer)

LOL...

We'll get more then 5 passes out of this baby.....along as we have no nitrous issues..... I build my to last.....(well that is the intention anyway....it doesn't always work that way though.... )....I do have a tranny issue right now though....I think the 2nd gear fork is toast...but it only affects it at the strip though so.....Im letting it ride for a while.

I do have over 6k miles on my build, all of which was over 300hp and atleast 20-30 top end passes over 200 mph....all on pump gas.... So far so good....
