Pros: smooths out fuel curve(if tuned right),supposedly more MPG, could get more HP,

Cons: its not free

If you have the PC3 and have not even mapped the bike there is no point in a V.

dosen't the 5 require a 02 sensor srewed into the collector to read the a/f mixture, like the bazzaz? if so a bit more complicated than loading a map into the pc3

no u only need the o2 censor if u do the double map feature.. it comes with a two map install kit but the bike only needs one map to run but if u want u can program 2 maps and change them while u drive and that requires the o2 censor, i have the V and its awesome

I just t the V installed on my gsxr 600, it helped a lot. My bike ran like since I had a full exhaust and I added a filter. def worth money if your bike has mods

well, since those pre-loaded maps don't take into account atmospheric conditions your best results will be with custom maps using the sensor and test rides to record a/f mix
