Nice bike Patrick.

Wild West have a couple of '07s in just now (red/wht/blue with about 6k on it and a red one with < 900 miles) which are very tempting.

Nice! But I have heard that the vtec service costs an arm and a leg compared to a regular valve adjustment on any other bike. True?

It is more labor intensive but based on my experience I only recommend checking it every 20k miles.

The last time I was in the market for a bike it came down to the VFR or the FZ1. The ONLY reason I went with the FZ1 was price. I have always loved the VFR ever since I layed my eyes on one of those early 90's model in that super sexy red.

I really lucked out on mine, picked it up for a hair over $5k.
Considering it already had the Ohlins shock and came with the hard bags I made out pretty well.
