what i would do if you get a used bike... make sure you have someone that know how to buy one. (a bike that is not beat up and rusted)

i would go with u to check out some bikes if you need help!

Omer is a great guy in here that also sales bikes! i am sure he will give you some good prices.

or find you something you're looking for.... dont let the dealership rape you.
if you dont have the cash andn you have to finance it then a new bike should do it... get a bike that is on sale like a 1yr or 2.

last time i saw a bike worth 11k for 7,500 on sale.. look for specials like this.

I would start with a 600 I4 and keep the rpms down until your ready for them. I LOVE my Gsxr 600. Feels very light and nimble, super stable at lean. Most who have experience with toys like dirt bikes, four wheelers, catch on and get comfortable pretty quickly. Just don't act like an idiot with the throttle and you be fine. watch every car u see like there gonna hit u.

Only because its badness would stop chucks heart at first sight they rock to. I still like the I4 over a twin because powers more manageable in turns.

I took MSF and waitied 4 months to buy a street bike. I have been riding dual sports for years and thought It's time I get my license. I bought a 2007 Honda Interceptor since I was a noob. It's a great all around bike, it's comfortable and I can add saddle bags for when I decide to take a road trip. Looks very sporty without. Just wanted to put in my 2 cents.

Yeah, got my eye on a CBR600 white/silver at Lunsford Honda and will see how long they have it.. i'm sure it will be gone once feb warms up, but its an 2010 for $10,699.. Maybe I can talk them down to $8500 or $9000?
