Yeah, my mates bike. Stolen from his apartment complex here. I do not think he has any description of the vehicle or anything like that. Stolen between 5 and 8 pm.

Crazy to think it was stolen out of Aberdeen, that area and that complex has a ton of traffic. I guess with it being right off the highway it's an easy target. My buddy has kept bikes there for a couple years before he moved and never had an issue. Sucks, hope he is able to recover it, heard he didn't have theft coverage.

There should be a law, that says you cannot own a motorcycle and live in an apartment without theft insurance..

We shouldn't need theft insurance period. People should just respect other peoples property.

i thought we were grown ups and should be held responsible for our actions? owners fault (not the op specifically) if he wanted to save a few bucks and is now in the red because he didnt have adequate insurance. hope everything works out for the better.

Let's not turn this into yet ANOTHER stolen thread that goes into "pmg people r so stupid for not havin theft!@#$"

Just putting the information out there, keep your opinions on the circumstance to yourself.

He is well aware of his mistake, I promise.

Update:

Quote:
This has been a fantastic weekend for me! I received a call from Pearland Police Department Saturday morning from an officer saying he did a traffic stop on a bllack R6. The plate ran back to the rider, but the cop decided to run the VIN number and found out it was mine. It was towed and waiting for me to pick it up. I am picking it up today! They said that they chopped off the exhaust but other than that, they said it looked like it was in great condition. Words cannot describe how happy I am. Thanks to everyone that helped me look for it.
