Mods should change the upper right-hand picture in our MH banner to this one. That would be priceless, and you can still see the city in the background imo.

I am a photographer... the over exposure was on purpose, for effect. Thank you. Yes I do have more. I'll need to go through them before I post more

So? Robert Mapplethorpe was a photographer, too, and I didn't care for every picture he took. Or Ansel Adams. I take your comment to mean, "Dude, please! I'm a photographer. I know what I'm doing." I didn't say you weren't or that you didn't. Sorry I hurt your feelings.

Let me rephrase: your over-exposure-for-effect post-processing job washed out the photo, IMHO. Unless it's not post-processing, and you over-exposed the photograph, in which case I still don't care for it. While we're at it, I don't care for the background. I might have gone with a bigger aperture to bokeh some of that. It's not to my tastes, but I am just one guy, and as a photographer, you have certainly been exposed to C&C before, I'm sure, so you know how to handle it. However, do post post up the original so I can see the EXIF info, please.

I do, cause I agree with him. no one contends the subject matter of the photo. ( very nice) but the manner of quality.

not at all. shityy criticism would be saying. "that looks like ", "learn to use a camera". etc...

here is my take on it. the "center" of the photo is not the model. it is the motorcycle. for two reasons. 1. the "exposure" washes out the model so much that the black bike instantly draws the eye from the model. 2. the center of the shot is once again, the motorcycle. the model is in the upper field of the photo. the background uses part of a skyline and the camera is crooked. the leading edge of the retaining wall is crooked.

it is a fun photo, but hardly the work of a photographer. I have said it once and I'll say it again. just cause someone spends lots of money on a fancy camera does not make them a "photographer".
