Curb Monkies

I am in complete awe whenever I see two up on the track.

[YOUTUBEhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F9G1kVY0OPo][/YOUTUBE]

Mad props

How do you do it?
While leaning do you wrap him with on arm and hold on to the tank with the other?
Do you stick out your knee and lean further then him?
How do you position yourself through out the whole ride?

sweet video thanks for posting.... they are really moving.

not sure on the technique, when my wife and i ride together it seems to make things worse the more she 'helps out'. If she just tries to stay inline with me then i can control the lean alot better. Honestly to me if they arent bouncing around on back its just like some extra weight, i havent had any problems flipping the bike around with her on unless she moves around mid-turn and you are forced to correct your lines. With normal riding she just keeps both hands around my waist, hard stops are the only time she uses the tank.

Her legs being there do make it harder to hang off sometimes, i havent needed to do anything crazy though so it hasnt seemed to be a big deal.

I WANT to ride 2up on the track so I can get a serious first hand view of some expert lines around the track and how deep I "could" be braking .. but I just can't do it. Guess I'm a control freak. MonkeyPusher did a TD 2up with her son. I bet he had a blast

When I want to catch back roads and the o' lady wants to ride 2 up, she keeps your breast planted to my back and always looks underneth me inside the curb.. Meaning she's looking at the line of the bike to.. When she does this well, we usually can catch and maintain a solid line. If she's not 'following me' though, I can usually tell which makes for more work on me.

Any "athletic" or even "average" girls 5'3" to 5'6" wanna help me out by letting me ride behind them at the next trackday so I can answer these questions? Don't worry, I'll cover the bike and track fees. You just have to show up ready to ride in tight black leathers and high heel boots.

TeleRomeo
Kathy is so ballsy I need to talk to her

Do you have to be a level 3/2 to be able to take a monkie?

Wouldn't one hand be on the tank at all times because the passenger is leaning into the driver?

I need to do a 2 up track day to find out pointers.

My girlfriend would have shat herself riding with that guy. To be honest I would of to if I was on the back. I only rode like a madman one time with a passenger a few years back and the girl was at me for a whole day. Made me pull over and refused to get back on the bike for about 10 minutes. I laughed so hard I almost myself.
