yeah me too. I ran off the track 4 or 5 times but kept it up.
I really should've slowed down and worked on my form and lines but I hadn't ridden in almost 2 weeks and was having a blast TRYING to fly around the track. It was awesome! Definitely have a new addiction now. It was cool meeting some of you. I'll be seeing some of you at TWS (Texas World Speedway) on Sept 4th, woooot!

Big thanks to everyone who had a part in getting the noob day together. You guys rock!!!

For real, I thought I had my fat off that bike...Guess not. LOL I need to go back and work on my lines and the speed. I was trying to concentrate on the lines so much that I would slow down to do so. Not next time...Next time I will feel a lot more confident and let my bike show me what it can do.

It was nice meetin you guys out there.

Me personally started to take it easy on the straights and tried to work on my line to go faster through the turns. Ohhh O.K. I wasnt really comfy with the hard braking I tried it a few times and really backed off to be safe. Did have a blast though
after thinking this over the past couple days i think the unsafe part came from everyone being new to a track environment regardless of ability to handle speed. i am okay at speed, feel good on my bike, i don't get scared easily and know what to watch for on the streets but think you might as well throw that out when you hit the track. what i learned is there is certain track etiquette that needs to be followed, like pick a line and stay with it through the corner ... don't go fishing for something that feels better cause the guy running up your a$$ might not be able to respond in a safe manner. ride in single file if appropriate not it clumps. i'm sure there are many more rules that others could chime in on but the take away is that i think the "unsafe" comment had more to do with riders not knowing what to do than with out speed demons. but that is just my humble opinion.

one suggestion i do have the moderators is that someone put together a top ten list of shoulds and should nots on the track. racer x or solracer put one up for riding on the streets and i have to admit i found them funny and useful. something similar on race track etiquette would be great. if it's already up please forgive my request but send me the post.
