looking for a trackbike!!

Your Trackday Bike!

I sold my street/ track day bike last year but I am now wanting to get back on the track. I am looking for a cheap 600 to get on the track! I have seen a few 600s for sale around but most are just worn out street legal bikes. Where have some of you gone to pickup salvage title/ trackday bikes?

I have been browsing cl, twtex, hpc, and ebay but no luck yet.

What are you looking to spend? I'd be willing to part with my racewired/rearsetted/race clipponed/race plasticed/full exhausted/racetech forked 600. It is a TRACK ONLY bike, though.

How bout a GSXR750?
I been kickin' around the idea of selling my 2004.
It's a former racebike, which means it has all the sweet upgrades. The best part is I titled it as an off road bike so the transfer should only cost around $35 or so, compared to typical being several hundred.
I'd like to get $3200 for the bike and some spare parts.
If you're interested I can tell you the whole story, illustrated with pics.

How much am I willing to spend? What you just quoted sounds out of my price range I'm willing to buy a track only bike.....I don't get much enjoyment out on the street anyways

I just sold my mint cond k4 gsxr600 a few months ago for 3400$ with low miles on it and a bunch of add-ons. I would kinda feel retarded spending the same amount for a track only bike when I just sold one that was a decent track bike and street legal I guess I'm in a weird situation

This bike is a complete package, ready for the track. Suspension upgrades (Traxxion Dynamics fork internals and a Penske triple clicker shock), full M4 titanium exhaust, woodraft case covers and rearsets, race fairings, tire warmers, stands and some spares.
If you change your mind or want more details plz PM.

So I gather you want a trackbike for $3400...?
You are in a weird situation. Most already track dedicated bikes have $3400 in mods alone.

I'd MAYBE consider selling mine, don't hold me to it though. 07 GSXR 600, but that price is a long ways off. I would say atleast double that to start. I haven't calculated it whatsoever. So again don't quote me on anything. It's got lots of mods. I've even got two sets of unrashed plastics and tanks just to start to give an idea of all the other extras I have on it.

Well to some people, their bikes are worth much more to them than when they are for sale....

My intention of this thread was to find out where to buy salvage title bikes or bikes that have been laid over/used for track days. I'm not trying to compete with Spies....

Senator if you and him are friends and he decides to buy the one I have you should be able to dial him in it looks like you ride the same bike. This one is well set up and needs nothing. I have too many bikes and need to get rid of a few thats all. Can use the money for racing but not in any kind of bind a friend just told me he seen the thread and told me someone was looking for a bike like mine.
