You should PC the rims black along with the gold stripe. That would really make it pop. Looks awesome.

If you could do two tone with gold spokes and black wheel that would be sweet too.

HOnestly, I dont see much of a difference. I would leave the colors alone and PC the Rims Gold.

i like the exhaust though.

After owning a few aprilias, I'm partial to wheels that don't match the color scheme of the bike at all. However, your mods look good too.

That's kinda the idea.. didn't change the colors other than adding the small pin stripe on the fairing... something only another 12R owner would pick up on.

The reason I want to do them gold is to match the factory wheels I have...

Opinions on planned mods?

Personally, I like the wheels the way they are now...it breaks it up a bit. I like the pin stripe and other subtle changes. I also like the shorty pipe. That bike is looking good. I always liked the 12Rs, they were faster then what they got credit for....they could make an easy 175hp with a bone stock motor and they handled well...

I hated working on them though...

Thanks.. and ain't that the truth on working on them! Even requires a special tool to access the plugs..

All worth it in the end for what it'll do..
