There are professional shitbags everywhere. . .where are you going with this? Chances are there are members of this forum that would rob you blind given the chance.

I don't have very many friends outside of this place that have motorcycles so I'm going by what I see. I haven't see very many stolen bike reports as of late.

My answer would be no. Either we have gotten smart about where we leave our bikes or people don't have time to post here.

Sad. But a very blunt truth. And that's the very reason only 8 people or so from this forum have ever been to my house.

Got experience? HPD might be hiring. With the highway robbery grade fines and no-questions-asked impounds for the simplest these days.....

I have a feeling that no one is sitting pretty on a bike theif's salary, but they're probably surviving.

Or supplementing their freebie welfare income with bike theft income. In which case, its probably a pretty reasonable livnig.

This is the type of answer I was looking for. Are bikes getting stolen by punks who steal anything at anytime, or by someone who specializes in just stealing bikes. Someone that really takes the time and puts a lot of thought into stealing bikes, making money off of them, and not getting caught.

we used to hang out with a couple that once gained our trust will come into our house and steal jewerly, bike gear, cash laying around, etc. We no longer associate ourselves with them after noticing that stuff goes missing only when they are around! They must be making a killing at ripping people off cause they were able to afford a nice house, two bikes and two cars and do lots of track days and no proof of income!
