Question S cable?

question: i tried using the s cable on my laptop to my wide screen, is that what its made for, cuz it didnt work, what am i doin wrong

i wanna play some games on the wide screen (AOE, CNC)

someone help me

what brand laptop? I know on Dell you have to hit Fn + F8 to toggle video modes.

+1 and you may have to hit it a couple of times. My dell has a couple of different modes so I have to press it a couple of times until the one I want is activated.

thats what i was wanting to know, its a 52" wide, the games are not graphic intense, have u played

I run powerpoint presentations of my laptop at work to the 42 inch tv/moniter.
The resolution isnt that great but it gets the job done. I had to activate the proper video feed thru its properties.
I dunno about games but faster faster didnt show to well when i played it for the lunch break .. hope that helps you.
