Smile SW Sunday Morning Ride Jan 23, 2011

Time: 10 AM - 12:30 PM

Place: PP 46 / La Madeleine French Bakery & Cafe (open for breakfast)
2675 Town Center Blvd N, Sugar Land

pp46

Kick Stands Up @ 10:15AM

Route: The usual!

Join our 1st SMR of 2011.... Supposed to be in the mid 50's to 60's and sunny! Since it will be Chinese New Years pretty soon i will be putting up a free raffle for a brand new pair of Alpinestars GPX gloves (Red in XL) during lunch, excellent for street riding!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Please read some basic common sense rules for this ride:

A. keep at least 2 bike lengths distance between bikes at all times.
B. pay attention to the road and the bikes in front of you.
C. ride in staggered formation on straights.
D. No wheelies or passing in the same lane as other riders (use another lane to wheelie/pass).
E. When passing cars, don't slow down after the pass, leave room for the riders that may be passing with you.
F. do not ride out of your comfort zone!
G. keep a constant speed, do not accelerate to pass on the straights and then park it on the turns, its all about being smooth!
H. YOU MUST HAVE INSURANCE UNDER YOUR OWN NAME, NO EXCEPTIONS!

*Please make sure your bike is running in good condition!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. sunday rider (10 S1000RR white/blue/red)
2. Omer (dont know what is in your inventory right now lol)

I was haven't heard from Helios so I am waffling on what to do. I have a VFR 800. I guess I would be a medium rider. Not sure I could hang with 1000's but I have never ridden in a large group. I gotta get the feel of things I guess.

Dont worry too much and come out to meet some new people! We mostly ride for fun, nobody is racing each other out there, we have sweepers so you wont get left behind!

i really dont like the feeling that other people think we go out there just to try to kill our self.!

you have a lot of people that take it easy and chill in the back of the group! but for those that like triple digits then they go at it in front of the pack about 30 seconds in front witch is a lot of time ahead.

FOR EVERYONE ELSE THAT WANNA COME OUT AND ACTUALLY RIDE.... WELL... THEY ALL CHILL IN THE BACK OF THE PACK!

dont have to keep up with anyone out there just enjoy the ride and the company of good people!

we meet up and then ride!! we dont meet up and sit for HRS just doing nothing but posting like pp1 on Wednesday night!

SO... COME OUT AND RIDE! THERE IS ROOM FOR EVERYONE!!
*this message was delivered to all you people that think Sunday Riders are just a bunch of stupid kids riding fast*
