TomballD's Trails Video

I made this video using an '03 Tiny crappy Nikon point & shoot camera, so pardon the horrible video quality. The camera was just screwed into the top of an old bicycle helment, so this was really just an experiment as to if it would even work. As you can see these trails are just at the end of my road, so if anyone wants to ride them let me know. Its kinda long so feel free to fast forward. The best point is when I am making a ditch crossing and throw my chain into a death kink between the countershaft sprocket and swingarm leaving me immobilized at the bottom of a soaked 45 ft. deep, 55 degree angle ditch! But thats in part 2 coming soon. It originally had music but the Youtube audioNazis stole it back.
PS. Yeah I know its shaky and video!!

Here is part 2, its way soggier. Its only 9 minutes, but if you just want to see the part where I throw my chain and get stuck in the bottom of a ditch skip towards the end. I ended up having to drag the bike out of the ditch to the top of the bayou with my Jeep, and then lift it into the Jeep and drive home. I had the camera recording during the recovery, but it didnt save the files. Always an adventure in Tomball!

This thing is a tank, it will pretty much take anything you throw at. The balance between lighter weight and decent power makes it great on the trails and on road. Its a great dual-sport

^ Yeah I'm the camera crapped out when I was backing the jeep into that ditch, trying to load a 300+ LB. bike into the back of the jeep, and especially dragging the bike up the ditch, that was hilarious!

^ Theres nothing like riding down the road and seeing a trail going off into the woods and saying " it lets see where this goes!" Cant tell you how many times I have found dirt short cuts all over town.

As far as breaking , the DR350 has been suprisingly tough andI have hda minimal break considering what I put it through. Now my other bikes havent been so lucky, but I enjoy spending time in the garage anyways, and I have 2 other bikes I can ride. Tell you what though, I never have all 3 bikes running at 1 time though....
