SV650 vs Gladius

Anyone have experience with the Gladius and can compare to an SV? I love the SV, but thinking about heading to the stealership to check out a Gladius. Just thought I would get some input so I can decide between a new Gladius and used SV. Thanks-CB

Gladius is simply the new naked SV. Check out SVrider.com and your questions will be answered.

Don't see the point of the Gladius. The SV is just a great all around honest bike. Why dress it in weird clothing?

Watched a few vids on the gladius on youtube and reviews seem good.
Says the gladius has 10% more HP/TQ and a slightly lighter curb weight.
Still, you can get a nice low mile SV for cheap and it's a proven platform with tons of aftermarket support.
I just picked up a low mile SV that I will have fully decked out for what I would have paid for a bone stock Gladius.

Ive owned an SV and ridden a Gladius...Didn't like the gladius as much..its heavier and felt less comfy in the tank area. I'm not sure where i stand on the looks of the bike..one minute i like it, and the one minute it seems too feminine to me. If suzuki would wise up and update the suspension, they would have a good bike. I say stick with the SV.

+1 tp [retty much everything stated above.
the gladius was supposed to be am artsy fartsy redux of the 1st generation sv, but modernized. suzuki gayed it further by giving it a ridiculous ad featuring floating hipsters iirc. it should be a good bike. it should be just about everything that the sv650 is. it just looks stupid and people will make claims about which way your sexual preference goes.

imho you would be better off getting an sv that is a few years old for pretty cheap. just not at a dealership
