The sad thing is eventually(hopefully) they go on a ride and realize how stupid they really sounded.

I just pull out track pictures on my phone and people usually shut up... you know "those guys" that talk about how fast they are and how much they 'race.' My favorite is when they are with their friends that dont ride and take their word for their moto skillz as the bible. When they get real quiet and I correct them on the tracks in the area and make them look like a fool I feel its worth the few minutes of dipshit comments they get out prior
I don't even mind them so much as long as they learning.

It's the dipshits who WON'T listen to your good advice, as if their 3 month experience is truly superseding. Then 2 months later post their crash pictures.....from FM1960.....

But they have been riding an entire 3 months, plus they have gone 240mph so obviously they know more than you.

Go back and read the thread. I gave him a pointer to the WTB section where he might have some luck.

I was new once, and I had to get broken in as well. Everyone does, like a freshman, sort of speak. You have a lil laugh and then point them in the right direction. That's what this threads about.

I would quit my day job if that were true.

But, you never made the "team", or joined a new group, and gave the other members a giggle because of your naive ways? Then had to get with the program? I definitely did...

Most of us weren't the all-knowing beginner like you.
(Though things would be less hectic around here sometimes!)
