Once the temp increases we'll start the forest gnome rides regularly and also branch out to some others areas for the new riders. Its a great opportunity to meet new riding buds and enjoy the roads.

...I see 2 guys wearing riding gear right now and my bike is the only one in the parking lot

Don't mess up their game, they're just doing what Dane Cook told them to do

Well last year we did continue to do the rides in the winter but only a few would come.

I dont mind doing a cold weather ride up there if theres enough interest. Otherwise, I too stick to shorter 30 minutes rides(Im getting old.)

Whoa. dont put a 636 in there... i wouldnt even put cbr in there.. most squids have no clue what a 636 or a cbr, is. they know gsxr and busted.. i mean busa. you get the occasional dipshit who watched biker boys and he wont get a 600,. "cause man those are slow and bikes, i cant race with those"....

How many times have I been asked is it a 600 or 1000 ....
I reply, " It's a R6"
Him,"So..."
Me, "Thats a 600"
Him," Oh the small one huh..... my buddies got 1000 its fast as....."
*Sigh*

People really believe a 600 is like a v6 camaro.

Now that I have a ZX9 swingarm on my 12 I may change the stickers..

Kinda pointless tho since 99% of the people don't know what a 12R is anyhow

"IS that a Busa???"

"nope"

"Oh, a ZX14 NINJA!"

"nope"

"oh, well my buddies gixxer would spank it anyhow so never mind!"

"ok"

"so is it fast?"

"only the fastest stock production bike ever made"

"no, my buddies Busa went 210 the day he bought it"

"ok"

Its part of the the community.

The sad thing is eventually(hopefully) they go on a ride and realize how stupid they really sounded.

I just pull out track pictures on my phone and people usually shut up... you know "those guys" that talk about how fast they are and how much they 'race.' My favorite is when they are with their friends that dont ride and take their word for their moto skillz as the bible. When they get real quiet and I correct them on the tracks in the area and make them look like a fool I feel its worth the few minutes of dipshit comments they get out prior
