Here you go,right down the street from where you got hit.

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&sour...,0.005681&z=18

A while back my friend was driving my car and he got hit.He did get the plates but the guy took off.He came back to my house and told me what happened so I got someone to run the plates.Guy lived nearby so I drove over and blocked the car in their driveway.THEN i called the cops and acted like I had followed him there. They arrested him right on the spot.Im guessing if thats the car you can call the cops again and say you had a witness that followed him home?

I ended up getting restitution from the guy that hit me.

I think I just heard the internet go BOOM!
Alleykat

Tyco, if you go over there, might wanna take a small hidden cam or voice recorder.
Catching someone by surprise and them saying. "Oh ... yeah sorry man, that was me that hit you" will help due to the element of surprise.

A day later they'll be like, "This fool can't prove , you know what? That WASN'T me that hit you, I don't even know who you are."

Good luck man.

Yep, cruise through and get a plate number. I'd be sitting at that corner incognito for a few days around the same time.

If you filed a report, they'll have someone assigned to it. Give 'em the number and let them handle it.

Tyco,

I rolled through there yesterday afternoon,

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&sour...,0.005681&z=18

Looking at the map the only logical explanation is they have to live in the immediate area, that led me to the run up and down every street, south of Thomas using brown and Delta as the main streets to exit the neighborhood. The second house on the right on Delta is the only light blue grand marque I seen.

It is possible they may have come from the other side of delta park, but it doesn't make sense when they could ahve exited the neighborhood off of Thomas street.

Did the car have a tag at all, or where you not able to see it? The light blue Gran Marquee I seen had a handicap tag, and I did not see any damage tot the driver's side rear quarter panel.

I would have rolled through a little slower, but in that hood, I look too much like an UC cop. Tens years ago that was a different story, man that place has changed.

Where do you live over there?

I will make another run by there in the next day or so, early in the morning @ 5:30 to see if I can spot any other grand Marquees that match the descritption.

Did you get a look at the driver by any chance?

Long hair, skinny, fat, old, young, glasses?

I know the car doesn't have tinted windows, not the one I seen yesterday.

He should have been able to get a glance at her and come up with a partial description other than she was mexican and had a .

You're right. There's bound to be at the very least 10 Mexican chicks with 10 identical light blue Grand Marquis in that neighborhood.
Sorry for trying to help in case you made it out there before he could reply.
Sounds like you got it covered.
Keep us updated.

In that neighborhood it's not uncommon to find 5-6 family members living within walking distance from each other, having handicap plates it could have been someone's grandfather's car. Just trying to cover all the bases here.

I don't know if I'd be glad I got hit, but yeah I get where you are coming from.

He can call the cops, but all they do is write a report, they don't give a about him or his bike. A cop is not going to take the time 20-30 minutes to canvas the neighborhood and looik for a light blue Grand Marquee.

Well the situation is as follows i got the lead to who it might be thanks to anatram. Thing is how would i prove they hit me apart from helios idea of recording them and they mite say something. Other than that there no paint transfer as she hit with my tire. My bike is getting fixed as of yesterday as it is my only modebof transport. Any other ideas of trying to see how to prove it? I alredy passed by slowly through delta saw the car but no dents or scratches on it. (i parked my car fars away and walked up to delta to get a closer view.)

I assume she hit you with the drivers side rear quater panel just dehind the rear tire, you should be able to see a scuff mark from the dirt/dust assuming the car hasn't been washed recently. Remember it rained all weekend, there has to be some road grime/dirt in that area.

If it is the car, it will be shiny where in came in contact with your tire.

Did you file a police report? Go talk to the resident office that lives over on Burke, I think his address is like 615 or 613. He's a cool guy. Sorry, but I can't remember his name for .
