That you along with riders and drivers alike, have not been pulled at the times you have been speeding or did something to violate traffic laws... No biggie.

Yeah, some cops are gonna harass you just because you're on a bike. You're not gonna change this. Best thing to do is keep clean. If you get pulled over don't give them a reason to remember you. Give 'em your license and stay quiet then go to court and beat the ticket.

you prove to be a douche, They will show you who the boss is. Either way, good luck with your case.

I ride around with 10k hid's on hi-beem for safety really. Twice the cop just signaled me to turn them off, without pulling me over. MAYBE BECAUSE I WAS WEARING FULL GEAR.

( Or you could just bann all the Chromed GSXRs and that would help with the discrimination? lol i jokh i jokh, i kid i kid)

What fo you think should be done about it? Does it exist, and is how can we make H Town a more bike friendly city?
this is why I doubt I'll be returning to sportbikes. wanna know what YOU can do? chastise those that come here and brag about running from the popo, educate any and all riders that need an education on gear and safety. when we as a group can start to "handle" our own and reel them in, then eventually the asshats will become fewer and the image will improve. As it stands now, the few people that condemn running, promote gear and education catch flack from the young pups that think they have the right to do as they please.

Well from personal experience if you observe reckless behavior and bring it up you are generally the bad guy/gal here. Maybe it was the way I wrote my op but the fact was I saw someone endangering others and themselves and had to say something regardless of what others thought of my opinion.

The few in this area ruined it for the majority of Sportbike riders. After 15 years of riding Sportbikes I got sick of being pulled over and harassed for doing nothing.

Switching to a Harley has not been as bad as I thought. Actually enjoying riding without any hassles. Now I get waves and thumbs up from cops instead of getting pulled over.

maybe I am the odd ball here, but in my 47 years of riding, I have never been ticketed, and never pulled over...not so in my cage though....I have been ticketed over the years for speeding 4 times, and I was guilty each time...I personally have never had a cop be an to me...i was polite with them and they treated me the same....

No tickets here in Houston but, I usually don't ride like a hooligan. Sure 5-10 over what traffic does but not usually on the HOV lane which is where I spend the majority of my time on the bike. I like to take corners and curves with spirit but then resume a respectable pace once I'm through. There is a place that the cops are REALLY bad (Spring Valley) Bingle and I10, but they are looking for ANYONE, car or bike. Had a Katy officer tail me for a bit (ran my plate) to see if I was going to do anything stupid (also fully geared up), after a few blocks he backed off and turned around. I wave at most of them, and most wave back, meh to the ones that don't. They are not there to be my friend so it doesn't bother me. I also hold the law and those that enforce it with high regard and do my best to show them as much respect as possible.

I rode like a from 2003-2008 on my ZX6R and was never ticketed. The key is to make sure you have clear line of sight ahead and behind and are in a clear area before putting one or the other wheel up. It all really comes down to "You gotta pay to play" stay within the law and they cant do anything, pass one at 170 and your going to jail.
