Year, bike and price shoulda been a dead give away before you even read the ad. That is unless the bike is wrecked.

just move on, i get tons of those on the daily... anything non-local is a scam. anything where they talk about having to pay any way other than cash is a scam. anybody addressing payment methods before discussing the bike details is scamming you. any ad that is a big JPG instead of typed up is a scam. if they EVER say "item" its a scam. etc...

Also look at the spelling. There are always one or two words that are misspelled or missing from a sentence. I think they do that on purpose.

Scammers on Craiglists

The old saying of when you see something too cheap to be true, it is not true.
This kind of scam has been on Craiglist for years. The scammer builds your confidence and then goes in for the kill. Actually knew of one person personally that was toasted for $10K on a similar scam.
When you see something like this, do everyone a favor, and report it. In the upper righ hand corner, there is a SPAM/Overpost box. Just check it, Craiglist will research, and remove the listing.
A few days ago there was a BMW '04 R1100S for sale and the price was $3,000. I knew good and well this was a scam, emailed the guy, and sure enough it was.

reporting it will get it removed, i dont think CL even checks them anymore they just drop the post. happened to my posts several times - some people just report bikes that are priced low without looking into it apparently..
