On a side note I'd like to say I think its pretty stand up for Helios to put together this Tribute ride recognizing the life and memory of Dr. Martin Luther King. Not that many individuals give much thought to the day, and for Helios to stand by his strong convictions and say "hey, we need to do something special for a day like this". Pretty cool in my book!

I hope there are t-shirts for this event

Well guys, the weather is kinda iffy.
It was supposed to clear up by 10am but now it's still showing 20% and overcast all morning.
What do you all think?

Go, no go?

You guys ever have a cruiser try to keep up? I would like to try one day, just not sure if it is even practical. I ride a Roadstar, which is a 1700, so should have enough power to keep up under reasonable speeds...what do you think?

Like I said in the OP, the ride is leisurley. It's not a very technical route at all, mostly long sweeps and empty country roads. You're more than welcomed to join and we can make adjustments on the ride. I can lead a slower paced group no prob.

I work 12 hr nights and I'll be just getting off work at 7am, then have to work again Monday night. I gotta sleep at least from 1-6pm.
This is a normal route for me and a buddy of mine (Triclops) and that's our normal time, that's mainly the reason I left it that way.

If everyone else wants a later start, we all have to agree, but I miiiight break off a bit sooner and return. Triclops knows the route well, so you'll be in good hands anyway. I prefer 8am, but if anyone else wants 9am let us know.
