Outcome: Cost $2,000 (including bail), 90 days probation (every two weeks they want their $45) and deferred adjudication for 6 months. It never went on my record. Whew!!!

Sucked, but clear lesson learned.

I got clocked for 140 but the guy rode sport bikes too so he gave me a 10 over the speed limit so I could get defensive driving.

Someone up the paper work and it got thrown out.

One of those moments of total stupidity. Wide open freeway, no traffic, nice down hill and I had never opened it up on that bike almost got me into a world of .

155 in a 55. When the DPS Camaro on the feeder lit me up i stopped. He was surprised, we chatted on the side of the ride for a bit and he told me very emphatically to go to court (it was a jp court). He didnt show-it was thrown out. He came by my work a few days later and asked me how court went. Our convo on the roadside consisted of chewin my , then thanking me for stopping, wearing gear and being polite.

So what happens if you get clocked for 30 over and get ticketed? Does it affect your insurance rate a lot? Ticket goes on your driving record? I heard it was a class c misdemeanor which has no correlation to me. I got the ticket in Refugio county doing 105 in a 70.

89 in a 65 is only 24 over and you're right. 25 over and no DD

I got a written warning for 157 in a 65 on the beltway. When I saw lights I pulled over so quick he almost passed me. everything was in order, he thanked me for stopping and wearing gear etc. told me if he saw me so much as turn without a signal he'd take me in next time.

well. I'm sure the 157 in a 65 had something to do with it. I was just thrilled not to be cuffed and stuffed.

140 on 45 (almost by downtown station) HPD shift change saved my it was 2 am and he said he was ready to go home.

100 in a 60 is the worst one I have had to deal with in court.

91 or 92 mph. was with gryphin up in the livingston area and we both got popped. I'm glad the trooper got us when he did, just a few minutes earlier we were way into the triple digits having a blast
