C6Z06 vs. GSXR 1000 Vid from LMP 1-8-11

Just a short vid of my GSXR 1000 racing my friends C6Z06. His best time that day was 10.69. It was my second time out to the track. I have a lot to work on with my starts and 60ft and 330ft.

i believe that is due to the stabilization of the sensor system. a lot of camera lenses with image stabilization you'll see that as well when you move the camera but it's not noticeable in a still picture

What's funny is when my buddy Chuck has it on his Road King at idle or de-cel it does it. On one of my sportbikes it stays silky smooth all the time.

....QUICK Vette....on street tires at that. Any idea of his trap speed? I'm guessing 130-132 to run a .69 on street tires and spinning. What's done to it? Exhaust/cam/tune?

This was a video from 1-8-11. There was still a lot of talking. His Z06 is a bolt-on with cam car, soon to have heads and nitrous. He actually just switched to Drag Radials. He is running DR's in the Video for the first time. He traps around 132-133.

Looks to be only an 8th mile track. Id like to see how the vette pulls in a 1420.

LMP is 1/4 mile.

Looks like the guy on the bike could be better at it, but either way. Close race. Now lets see it compared to a S1000rr or new 10r

No, its a 1/4 mile track. If it was a 1/8 mile track then the ET and Trap Speeds would be way off. Your not going to trap 132 in the 1/8 and run a 10.69. His best in the 1/8 was like a 6.9xx at 105mph.

LOL. A good 1/8 for me is a 5.9.

That was my second time to the track. I have a lot of work to do to lower my ET's. A good rider can ride my bike in the high 9's around 142mph.
