Never arrested and I got hit pretty hard once. Had to lawyer up but the cop was cool as and didn't say about reckless driving or arrest...

But that is what can trigger the stop and then you get arrested for something else...it's happened to me....more than once....and it stays on your record forever. I had just left work and I got pulled over making a left turn under the freeway and was told I was speeding. I argued that I could not get up to speed like that making a turn from a dead stop on loose gravel. He gave me a sobriety test and took me to jail on suspicion that I might have been drinking earlier in the day because my eyes were red (from cleaning the pool an hour earlier - as a lifeguard). Had to lawyer up and it got dismissed. Another time was arrested for supposedly evading arrest. Cops were chasing someone else and picked me out as I was stopped at a light. Big confusion, but I was still arrested and charged. Lawyered up and got dismissed, but had to spend a lot of money. For about 10 years - every time I got pulled over on a bike they would call in backup because I was listed as a "runner". I've had every single speeding ticket dismissed from a motorcycle, but they were all minor (no more than 10 over). I save the real speed for the track!!!

I've got mixed feelings about cops....

Yea, we've gone over that. Excessive speeding is called reckless driving, but you can also be arrested for reckless driving without speeding. I'm just interested in the speeding version

and i also want to thank him for the sobriety test (@9am) along with the "you white boys" comment to boot if it where not for you, society might not be as racial aganst your kind... but yet again somthing my great great great grandpa did to your great great great grandpa alows you to feel that i have wronged you and i am the great new menice on society.

so i pull over on the Highway three weeks ago and this guy makes me lay face down on I-10 shoulder then tells me to get back up and turn off my bike, then tells me to throw the keys away from me then the Sob test then asks me if i was ready to leave this world in a coffin... court date on the 22nd

i was speeding but not to this extent, i gurantee he wanted to put me in jail
Which department was this?

Would you feel better about it if I told you that the limit would actually be 90? Anything 25 over the speed limit, you're not suppose to be able to take DD or deferred.

175 in a 45 at 3am, charged with excessive speed or somesuch. The bond was double the fine and i had it on me so i walked right back out after he hauled me in. i never saw the cop and he pulled up when I was getting gas. Apparently I had blown by him about 3 or 4 miles back . Yelled at me for running from him etc. Ticket was tossed because I didnt confess(he offered to let me go and ticket me if I would),he had no make ,model ,color or plate till after he saw a bike being gassed, he ticketed me in another city limit,etc... He also followed me everywhere when I was in town(I lived there) for about 6 mos after that because he was .
