Dude! This reminds me...the other day I was cruising through town...ya know, chillin with my on the back, wheeling from stoplight to stoplight cause that's what gets it done in this town. Anywayz...I'm cruising easy, flippin the "what up?" fingers to my homies riding by when I feel this rush of hot air blow past me! I don't see anything besides me or in the rear (cause I have no mirrors) and right in front of me is this Apache hovering at the next light! He pulls up a bit to let me stroll up, and I see he's giving me the "Let's go" sign...ya knows how I roll - I never back down! So I got it revved up to about 19,500k and I told the "hold on, gurl!"and the light changed and I pulled on this muhhfukka by like, three lengths! I skipped second gear and went straight to third(cause you can get up to speed faster that way) and I even shifted as my flip flop flew off!! So I see the Apache gaining on me and I am almost to the next light and I see I have 178 mph on the speedo but it's hard yo, cause my tank top kept blowing up in to my face. I just said "screw it" and up shifted in to six and I was like "whoa, I am going 198 mph and I am almost at the next light!". I knew I already won so I just put the kickstand down and I was waiting for him to catch up....the guy was cool...he was all like "Duuuude, you're really fast. If you would have given me four lengths I would have beaten you! He shook my hand and said my ol' lady was hot and flew off. Ya know the best part of all this? A cop pulled up and gave me back my flip flop and said "If you would have lost, son, I would have given you a freakin ticket!" . The cop was so cool he lead me home with his sirens on. When in doubt, just gas it!!

I-10 Eastbound Feeder & Mason (I believe)

I waited to snap the picture until I got a smile,... didn't happen.

Ya know. Anytime I see a cute girl on a bike, I remember Brittany Morrow.

For any of you who haven't read her story, it's about surviving a motorcycle accident with no gear.

To the gixxer driver in the picture, if you don't want your girl to go through a three second mastectomy and end up looking like a burn patient, have her wear some gear. If you're interested in being around for a while yourself, wear some, too.

P.S.:

- Try being a little bit smarter than to sport a backback between you and your passenger
- It might be beneficial to stay OFF of the very obvious oil strips
- Make sure the girl truly understands the risks of riding pillion... if she did, she'd have gear on
- I know you're the best rider in Houston, if not all of Texas, but public roads introduce variables you have no control over.. wear gear.

Thats rediculous....

You know what though... with all the RIP threads and fallen rider threads we see, im really beginning to not even care anymore. Im not saying i dont feel bad for the ones who werent at fault but most of them bring it on themselves. Its like beating a dead horse. No matter how many times people bring it up on here... it still happens. , they can ride naked now for all i care. Its their life and their choice.... If they wanna be stupid... LET EM!

Being a radial engine you would have to drain the oil off the lower 2 or 3 cylinders after it had been sitting for a while or you could get a hydraulic lock and crater the engine. That would be the impracticability of it.
Nah not as hard as it seems, just not all that enviro-friendly... install lever/switch that shuts off fuel and opens the exhaust valves killing compression, hit starter to blow out pooled oil. flip switch/lever back to "run" postion start normally.

See startup proceedure for first generation M4 Sherman tank, which had i beleive a wright cyclone radial.
