Thanks for the 'concern' :P And you're welcome to any body part you like if some soccer mom squashes me flat with her SUV. Can't recall my blood type...

Anyway, I've gone down, 6 broken ribs, broken right scapula, and half-collapsed right lung, and I wear gear. Lot of y'all just seem overly sensitive to people that aren't totally clad in everything possible to wear. I just can't find fault in someone skipping the race suit while it is 100 degrees outside.

Seems a bit different than the guy with a helmet, regular jacket, riding gloves, and jeans.

I like your attitude and the cut of your jib. Make sure your DL has a donor heart on the front of it. You can change several lives.

"I'm going to give an anecdote wherein I attempt to make it look like the fact that I was injured while wearing gear means that wearing gear doesn't help prevent injuries."

Ok. Honest to , though, I don't care what you do. Just please don't encourage others to be safe and please do consider becoming a registered organ donor.

So what about hauling on two wheels with other idiots on the road in two ton guided missles is inherently safe???? If you wear gear, great, it means you'll lose less skin or won't fracture as many bones when you go down. Hopefully everyone suggesting people sign up to donate organs have done so themselves. This sport, lifestyle, relaxation method or whatever you want to call it is dangerous so enjoy it like it's your last day every time. By the way, we're all dying. What happened to the pictures?????

How are these people driving and taking pictures at the same time? Doesn't sound too safe. Yea, some are at stop lights but others you can tell their moving.

I wonder that myself, at least they're wearing their seatbelt so they're being safe.

True, true. Not saying anything about gear/no gear. Just that "safety" isn't always being practiced.

Passenger or wait til stopped. Or you can do what I do and have the gopro mounted doing video for insurance purposes (Hello Russia) and take a screen shot of the video. The one I posted recently was in 0 mph traffic.

I don't like this thread it hurts my emotions and makes me feel sad inside so I am going to post a rant in it instead of just moving along.
