bah! I'd rather have a harley. My reasoning for that is exactly what we have been talking about. sportbikes have such a bad rep now in this area, that I simply do not want the hassle or even the possibility of being hassled. yes, you might win your case if falsely accused, but how much is that gonna cost. either way, you lose.

you know it really funny I'm pretty thin and tall and ride a GSXR-750 and a stretched slammed Busa with a visible Nitrous bottle. Cops roll up all attitude until the helmet comes off and they see a Woman. Not that they are flirting but they are always expecting some snotty nose 20 something kid with an attitude and no insurance(not that a kid could afford a 200hp Busa). Cracks me up! Then IF the chance arises you can bet Hubby will point out that I'm a Racing license holder and that we race ON TRACK and DISCOURAGE Street Racing, oh well in that case,,,

Of course, the ruck was doing all of 35 with a good tailwind.

NEWSFLASH!
Houston Texas
A pack off over 100 maniac Riders tore through local roads last night endangering local children and cats. The ensuing hi speed Police chase reached speeds of 200mph before 2 of the Felons were trapped and arrested.
Police are Holding Renzo "the Pavement Killer" and his partner in crime
"Gunz" Rykoson without bail pending charges of Reckless Endangerment, contesting for speed, conducting a race on a public roadway, and possibly murder in the deaths of Mrs. Opossum and her 3 children who attempting to cross the road follow a red banty chicken"
Oh yeah this has news story written all over it!

I don't think they wonder that at all. They have a pretty good idea that folks don't like to go to jail

I heart track days.
not pointing the finger, but I find it very hard to believe the guys were just cruising along, minding their own law abiding selfs and the cops just out of the blue decided to mass together and grab these two yutes that were just doing no wrong all for the sake of "getting somebody"......I mean, seriously, a few pages earlier someone mentions the "weaving in and out of traffic on I-10 earlier that same day was a bit much", in other words implying they were doing something to draw attention to themselves.....who knows, everybody has a cel phone now a days, maybe numerous calls fire the popo up?....all speculation on my part of course.
