buying a motorcycle with trackdays ?

Found a bike, 2006 zx6r 636 he said he did 4 track days and 4 tunes ups (after each track day ?? ) with new tires

asking price : $3200, good condition body, no problems with the bike...

good deal or no ? am bout to go check it out... what should i look for when checking it out ?

oh yeah 8k miles all stock

Sounds decent. You have a bike already, so you should know what to look for. Kick the tires real good, and then offer him less than what he wanted. Bargain, son...

I wouldn't worry about trackdays all that much, especially that few. MY best friend has an '02 gsxr 750 that has ~20k miles, and 20+ trackdays on it. He performed all the proper services at the proper intervals, and the bike still runs wonderfully.

Ask if there are any issues with the transmission. Some people have had shifting problems with that model.

in the pics biked looked clean, when i get there its an 2005, with "some scratches"
and when i told him NO.... he got off for wasting his time, like really wtf?

its still probably a good deal! it's a very nice bike for the price. as lorin said, they had some tranny issues.
