It was a fun night. Glasspack was having a burnout contest on his own trailer.

Colt and I were able to play with that clutch a little. (mostly Colt) Still have a little way to go before it's set. WAS able to manage a 1.46 60' but screwed up the back half. Gearing was set at 18/45. Gonna go back with 17/45 and try it again. Only had two passes that felt kinda decent. Should be able to get it to run better next time out. Rode it naked with no plastics. Swingarm not installed yet. Still runnin extensions. Did feel good to be back on the Busa again. Hoping for around 8.70's on motor maybe better.

More bikes there than I've seen in a long time. Pics are when Colt made a pass on it.

Sounds like fun. I don't know if I would make that gear change. It's gonna screw up the clutch tuning you have done and you will be near the top at the trap and make more shifts. Make that clutch do it's thing.

It was suggested to me that the gearing should be lower running on all motor. I'm gonna play with it and see what it will do. Making adjustments on the clutch is going to happen anyway. I did learn a lot about this clutch last night. Glen Matthews came over and really helped us out. For some people this just comes naturally, or just a long time in the game.

It's a combination. They are good enough that they don't burn out.

Get back on the horse and ride. Do you see a clutch in your future? My first good pass dropped me a 1/2 sec. off my 60'. And that's not even the start of what it is capable of. It's perfect for people like me who did all I could do with a stock hand clutch. Some people say it's cheatin', if that's the case, why do they make them? I'm no pro, I just want to get all I can out of what I got.
