Saint Arnolds Brewery SATURDAY 01/08/2011

WHEN: Saturday 01/08/2011
TIME: 10:30am Opens at 11:00am

2000 Lyons Ave.
Houston, TX 77020

http://www.saintarnold.com/

I've been trying to set this up for quite sometime now, so here it is. Saint Arnolds Brewery does a 3 hour Open house and Tour on Saturdays. I thought of this after suggesting it to DvlRacer for his friend that is coming from out of town.

Since I'm off this Saturday, I figure why the not go, and make it a Meet and Greet out of it, for you guys that want to go and have never been. Or been and just want to return. It's going to rain Saturday anyways, so there is no chance of riding. The Brewery is also kid friendly, I will be bringing my little girl along.

Here's the deal if you are coming, make sure you bring food or snacks since you will be drinking their delicious beer. If you like we can pool our snack or food together and share, I usually bring Sandwhiches, Cheese, and Crackers. But this time I think I will bring Pizza. There is usually a line to get in, so I want us to get a nice spot to sit down and set our stuff, that's why I request the 10:30 Arrival.

The way it works:
Pay $7 to get into the Brewery.

You get:
4 Tokens and an 8oz glass to try 4 of their many beers.
A tour of the brewery (they have 3).
You can Also purchase a bigger glass, and still use those tokens to fill them up.

LIST:

1. NewRider and Little NewRider +1
2. DanC_RR
3. SpeedCheeser
4. Flip
5. ?

I will Also be bringing Rummikube to play while we hang out, bring board games if you want.

Note: if you own (or know someone who owns) St. Arnold drinking glasses, bring them. Maybe even bring a couple extra as loaners in your car if you wanna be nice. Basically you turn your 4 "taster" tokens into ~4 pints, instead of ~2.

Not sure what I have going on Saturday...but I haven't been there in a while. In fact, I think I've only been to the newery once.

I only have mine, but yes, Very good Idea Bro!

Hope you can make it, I was planning on being there anyways, just wanted to take the opportunity and have everyone here enjoy a brew, and shoot the t. Stupid Rain.

Games and cards are cool to bring and can be fun, but a table is not guaranteed. Although it's supposed to rain, so maybe that will lessen turn out, and if you show up early enough you could save a few spots.

Are you really THAT bored that you just sat there and put up all the right colors for the Google logo?

(Yes, I actually did just go to Google to make sure they were the proper colors.)

Lookin ok for me. I think the woman's working Saturday, so I'll have to drive myself if I go. Kinda lame, but just means I can't pound them down as hard!
