Very cool! If you don't mind I have a few dumb questions...

1) What's that hump at the front of the tank with the black thing on top?
2) What's that shock-looking thing on the side of the bike parallel to the ground, between the handlebar and the engine?
3) How or where do you start this bike? Does it even have a battery?

vent for gas tank
2) What's that shock-looking thing on the side of the bike parallel to the ground, between the handlebar and the engine?
Steering stabilizer
3) How or where do you start this bike? Does it even have a battery?
Just like you would any other bike, battery has been relocated to "drivers side" of engine.

If you dont mind me asking, were these pics taken at Race Rock in Orlando Florida? They have a bunch of race bikes up by the ceiling like that.

So I put 3 miles on the 750 last night, I just rode it around my neighborhood and only got up to 35 mph or so but the bike ran real nice up to 6000 rpms. Idled well, transitioned well...it pretty responsive, especially for having tallish gearing. I can't wait to take it out on a real ride. I will say the exhaust system is crazy loud and raspy...not really my cup of tea but. Not much I can do about it given the system is a 1 off built. I may try to fit a quieter can with rear exits or something down the road.

Last night I rebuilt the head light assemblies, new wiring etc etc. Also verified I have tail/brake lights. Next mission will be to figure out the turn indicators circuits/relays. I will start polishing the front end and rear subframe this weekend so I can hang the upper cowl and tail section on it.

Hopefully I will have it road worthy in the next few weekends.

does it have switches for that? if it doesn't have turn signals, you can still pass inspection by saying that you use your hands

Brett, the bike does have the left side controls with the oem turn signal button, it also still has most of the turn signal wiring on the bike...but nothing works. No power to any of the signal wiring. I don't even think it has a signal relay anywhere. it took me forever to find the fuse panel as it was relocated under the frame. I have to study up on the relay/circuits etc but....I'm not too concerned with it. If its too big of a PITA I just won't install any turn signals. Robert and Joe just know to stay the F outta my way when we ride.

Good to know about hand signaling for State inspections though.

Shouldn't be too hard to plug in a standard flasher relay. Not much to them.

That is one sweet looking bike!! You might want to check with Klaus Speedworks (John Klaus) to see if he has any old OEM stuff he wants to get rid of. It would be cool to get an old Yosh full exhaust on that bike. With those carbs, it shouldn't be too hard to retune to any exhaust I would think. What might be tough is getting sprockets for those Chicane's. I have the same rims on my old race bike and sometimes getting sprockets is tough. Vortex is what I'm using now.
