Xtreme Series Race#1 - Series Opener!

Just under 3 weeks away is the season opener for Texas Xtreme Offroad Racing 2011!

Location will be Middleton, TX (approx. 2 hours North of Houston) and the flier is available online here

http://www.texasxtremeoffroadracing....ton_Race_1.pdf

If you have been on the fence about trying a hare scramble series, here is your chance. Several MH members made it out in the 2010 season and I hope to see them back out, in addition to seeing some new faces.

Come get your feet wet with the best series in SE Texas. I promise you will learn a ton, meet cool people, race in a fun/competitive environment and you won't leave without a grin on your face. Here is a video of last years event when it was raining and 40 degrees. lol Hoping for better weather this round!

Good luck! Have fun be safe.

Still in that "any day now" phase with Jo & The Belly...so hopefully I can latch on to the series during the 2nd race of the season.

i have everything except the time to put it together.
head rebuilt with SS valves. wiseco piston on the kitchen table. gaskets in the garage. i rebuilt the carb. ordered some sweet goodies. have a rekluse under my desk at work. brand new exhaust. it will be basically brand new. i'm dying for some assembly time and even more for some seat time.

i really can't wait to get little man geared up...I'm thinking I have a long wait.

Don't forget there is a rulebook for this season! Numbers are mandatory for points.

http://www.texasxtremeoffroadracing....isionfinal.pdf
Quote:
A rider’s race number must be displayed on the FRONT AND SIDES of the motorcycle at the start of the race in order to receive points. Number on number plates must be a minimum of 4 inches high. It is the responsibility of the rider to insure that the bike is numbered correctly. This includes letters.

Request your number from the website.

Pre Race Course Video is Up!

For those that never race Middleton, it is a real fun property and this course is by far my favorite out of all the races we have done there!

One year I put an easy/hard that claimed quite a few racers! He! He! Well its back for this year, plus a nice 38" log crossing(2nd Hard). Check out the video here!

See you next weekend!

You folks missed an amazing weekend. Weather was perfect (a bit cold Friday night...a mere 22 degrees or so) during the day for riding and camping. Dirt was perfect, the course came in SUPER awesome throughout the day on Saturday and Sundays race day could not have been more perfect. A few pics to follow shortly.

Thanks man. The entire time he was in the belly, he'd start kicking when I would tell the belly, "Show me how to kickstart!"

Well right after he was born and placed on the table, I said, "show me how to kick start!" and he let out a swift single right footed downward kick. I think he's ready for the thumper kickstart.

BTW, I haven't reviewed the video yet, but I think Grandma might have got that on video...I certainly hope so.

Congrats on the 1ST PLACE WIN!

My pops came down last minute this weekend so I wasn't able to make it. :(

I need my fix!
