Laid it down...sigh. Advice needed

well, it was raining yesterday, and i managed to put my bike down... I was going about 20 and the back tire just went out from under me. I fully expected my bike to be totally FUBAR, but when i picked it up, i got a massive surprise. My bike was fine. Literally not ONE scratch on the bike. Motor, tank, handlebars, tire, fenders PERFECT.

the only casualties were my windshield and my saddlebags... the saddlebags are still useable, but the windshield was cracked and scratched up badly. I managed somehow to completely break the left mirror off without even TOUCHING the handlebar... i'm clueless how that happened

anyway, my insurance is giving me just under a grand for the mirror, saddlebags, and windshield, so i need new ones.

I'd like something very modern looking, and i'd prefer not to pay more than 450 for both the saddlebags and the windshield.

I had a memphis fats windshield, and i'd prefer something a little less HUGE.

I also want some good saddlebags that don't have all the buckles and studs. I just want quality leather bags that look good

suggestions are welcome

My bike is a 2005 Honda Shadow Aero

Not a bad crash. If only when crashing we could have results like you did. Glad you and the bike are okay.

Learn from the experience.
