The skid mark starts outside the frame. Judging by the scale of the folks in the shot and what can be seen of the skid, it's pretty long for a 45mph posted road.

Yea, we all know you’re a badass. The use of the word "Bad" in your user name proves it.

Aaaah. So you live your life an 8th mile at a time? Nothing else matters? Not the mortgage or the team or any of their ? For those twenty minutes or less you're free? So....how does one leave a skid mark from a front brake locking up?

Don't hurt yourself pondering on that. I can already hear your blood pressure rising over the net. May wanna hit up some of those pills.

Unlike cars the front and rear are not linked. There is no way for us to know if he used the front at all or what ratio. I could leave a skid mark forever from 45 with nothing but rear brake on a hard tire.

I learned what front brakes do long before MSF was required, before I hit the streets and before I hit the track.

Quote:
Your motorcycle has two brakes:
one each for the front and rear
wheel. Use both of them at the
same time. The front brake is more
powerful and can provide at least
three-quarters of your total stopping
power. The front brake is safe
to use if you use it properly.

My point is if he grabbed a hand full of front brake it'll loop before it locks up and skids. Believe me, I'm an expert looper.

I agree. Who has not done a stoppie? Even if it did skid, it would be to keep it up.

Yes of course I will never forget, and that was bs too, she should hang as well, I,m not saying were innocent of not going fast but people should really realize what is going on around, look and listen, quit fussing at the kids and texting and talking on the phone, my daughter and grandson was hit by a lady texting after she left a freaking garage sale, luckily they were ok, had she killed them I would be in prision right now

Very sad, regardless the reason. It was an accident - not a purpose. Was is avoidable? Probably. But it still happened, and somebody is dead. Lesson learned.
