Wow... if he was a friend, I'm sorry for your loss... This is real bad and sad for the family... too bad he won't have a second chance and a child won't know their father... R.I.P

Was the rider a member?

RIP.

Cant imagine what kind of force he must have hit that truck with to damage the truck and injure the driver with his body.

How do you know that the truck was still in the ditch when the rider saw it?

You can be in denial all you want, but I've witnessed more riders crash during rides that I've been on in a year's time, than car crashes happen in front of my eyes during my entire life.

Most drivers drive to get somewhere.

Most sport bike riders ride to have fun.

I personally hope they file charges on the truck driver, yes the rider was going too fast but the driver of the truck was doing an illegal U turn in the road, but he is still alive to talk about it, after watching the video, his body must have slammed that truck, I bet that is a thought I hope he never forgets

Bet it wont happen, as I know of a accident that a lady pulled in front of a rider and she was driving on a suspended lic and he was killed. And yes you know who I am talking about.

If you ar running over 45 mph (posted speed on that road) and come into a turn the on coming cars can't see you. And a little hill and it makes it worse.

I don't think anyone should get charged for anything here. Just a hard lesson learned for a lot of people.
