I don't know if I'm just more aware of these accidents/fatalities, but there seems to be one here in Montgomery County every couple of weeks easily. I'm going to have to look up some statistics.

that was always my biggest fear riding out there. the blind curves and hills are very dangerous, especially at those speeds. RIP.

Obviously. That's what happens when only one party of the incident survives. I'm not going to judge the rider, but if he was going that fast over a hill the pick up driver was at an extreme disadvantage at being able to see the rider approaching.

You could watch the video clip. Trooper stated that "we have a couple of witnesses that say he was driving erratically, popping wheelies prior to the accident..."

Very sad indeed. Stuff like this is the ONLY reason I sometimes wonder if I should keep riding.
