you guys are forgetting some of the riders may not finish the race and not earn any points at all. that is the only real reason rossi isnt in the lead, not because he was out ridden.

Thanks Art, my wood is gone now.
Lets face it . Art is right. If Rossi's DNF's and other mechanical woes werent an issue, there would be a familiar face in the points lead.
He isnt outridden this year, only his bike has sucked for a few races.
Give Nicky some props for being able to give hids crew good enough feedback on the Honda that they could give him a consistent bike through these races. He is still on a developing bike program.

Developing bike program?????? These guys are always making changes, so it applies to all of them. Props to him, no one is saying that he sucks, we are just commenting that he doesn't have the champ it the pocket just yet.

You have to give Ducati some props thou. This small Italian company with world wide sales of 35,000 is beating the mighty Japanese in WSB weekly and now has topped them in MotoGP. Makes you wonder what they could do if they had greater resources to race with. I want Nicky to win it but I was happy to see the DUC on top also.

Just goes to show it's not ALL about the rider, but the team and the whole package that wins championships. This is the best championship battle we've seen a while. I hope Hayden can hold on, but he is going to have to swim a little faster....just keeing it on two wheels isn't going to get it done...

You're not understanding, Nicky is on an experimental/developmental bike and has been for all year. Dani is on the bike (upgraded obviously) that HRC was racing last year. Nicky is the guinea pig for any and all chassis/engine/FI/ exhaust expirements.
