2011 Suzuki GSX-R 600 Details | Video

2011 Suzuki Motorcycles

For 2011, Suzuki totally redesigned the GSX-R 600. In this YouTube video, America Suzuki drops by the Yoshimura Raceshop (think Mat Mladin), and takes a closer look at the all new sportbike, focusing on all the major new changes.

The GSX-R 600 has continued to win races in many 600cc classes across AMA Pro Racing and World Supersport, and for 2011, Suzuki decided on full redesign of the motorcycle.

New for 2011, the GSXR 600 shares the same advances as its 2011 brother, the GSX-R 750: race-proven advanced engine technology, with broader power delivery, improved throttle response, lower emissions and about 10-percent better fuel mileage as measured by Suzuki engineers using the standardized Worldwide Motorcycle Test Cycle.

The new GSX-R600 features nimble handling and a compact size; the new sportbike also is 9 kilograms lighter, with a curb mass of 187 kilograms-giving it the class-leading power-to-weight ratio for production 600 four-cylinder Supersports.

The repetition of the same footage of the guy on the track and the looped music made for an annoying video, coming from a MFG. The bike looks ok but I dunno...it doesn't seem like anything to brag about. The 09+ ZX6r on the otherhand was worlds of improvements from what I read

Nice improvements. The guy reminds me of the dude from Napoleon Dynamite ... I burst out laughing when he said he is the test rider for Suzuki.

Kawi needs worlds of improvements just to stay in the same class. There's only so much you can do to improve perfection

It has the hazard button on the left clip on still. You squided on a GSXR the other day. You even said that the bike has a lot of power and the rear tire slid out from you.

I can do white. I like the blue and the orange.

I think a suedo Repsol would be sweet. That orange/black they did in 08 with orange wheels. I'd pimp my wife out to inner city immigrants to get that...

Is it because he didn't have his shirt off or looked all roided out with Tribal tattoos?
