Steering Damper

Which brand do you guys prefer? I was thinking about getting either a GPR or a Scotts. Any suggestions?

Both are good. Performance is identical, the GPR is available in a choice of colors, the Scotts is gold only.

i have had two scotts and no problems. the scotts and ohlins are more expensive than the GPR.

is this for the 1k in your profile? i thought they came with a damper.

Yes, it is for my 1k. The bike does come with a little steering damper at the bottom. I am sure that it is nothing like the aftermarket though.

I believe the stock damper on those zooks is non-adjustable. I could be wrong though. Either way, both will outperform the stock unit. GPR is availabe in a multitude of colors

The GPR and Scott's are both good dampers. I have used both without issue.

I prefer GPR just cause you can pick the color you want. Both are good. The hyperpro is good too though.
