laid it down...merry christmas to me!

Left a buddies house last night at around 2:30. I came to the stop ahead of another car and when I started my turn he decided to turn off his blinker and head straight towards me. I tried to lean it more towards the curb but my end kicked out and I highsided to the left ( cold tires ). I ended up with a broken wrist, broken foot and rash on my knee, thank goodness for good gear!!! I just hope my bike isn't totalled. I need a new frnt fairing, lft fairing, lft rearset, lft case cover, lft mirror and a new tail. And the waited just long enough to watch me stand up and then took the off!!!

! maybe a traffic camera in the area can help you identify. If you have a vehicle description maybe the insurance company will follow up for their money.

one thing you can count on with Houston drivers is - you can't count on them.

he stopped at a stop sign with a car behind him, he saw , in his mirror, that the car had its blinker on to turn.
As he made his turn he noticed the car had turned off its blinker and began to go straight through the intersection, which he had not cleared yet, and the car hit his back end in mid-turn causing him to slide then high side.

sry man sounds like most people who hit motors in houston dont stop to help the people they possibly just killed...

Glad your still alive. Hopefully this taught you to not ride when it's cold.

more like to be super super cautious until your tires warm up a little.

I have learned that lesson as well.

If it's cold the never really warm up. I've raced in the cold and even on the track the tires stay cold

So sorry to hear, but considering what can happen out on the road after a holiday where people traditionally drink, I would consider you pretty lucky that you will see the new year.
