oil filter

what happens if i change my oil but forgot to change my oil fliter

Depends on how long it's been on there. Worse case it goes into bypass, no longer filters oil.

It'll be ok if you only did it for one oil change. It aint gonna get blocked and start bypassing.
If your engine produces that much (to block a filter) it's got bigger problems than oil changes...

Change it when you get a chance but don't get all frothy about it.

typically you can change the filter every OTHER oil change... (this is what i have seen on most bikes personally)

, my drz recommends every 3rd oil change to replace the little paper filter.

You'll have to sell your bike for half its market value

FYI, I don't know about your bike but both the owner's manual and shop manual recommend oil and filter change at every 8,000 miles for both versions of the 09 CBR
