Biker pulled over on the Beltway

Was on my way home and saw a biker pulled over by the cops on the beltway at the W. Airport exit. Looks like a pre 2008 ninja 250/500. Looks like the bike is getting towed!

Really? Didn't think they were fast enough to get towed, but I've never owned one I rode a 250 once and it "felt" like I could have outrun the thing with my truck.

So although we laugh, it is possible. It is a jailable offence in a state jail and the person will be arrested. 180days -2 years and/or 10000 fine. But the kick is that the grand jury has to indict the accused. Based on evidence they can choose to charge, or No Bill it, in which case it will charged as a misdemeanor (Class A), or no charge at all aka dismissed.

Hey, we used to run from the cops all the time on MX bikes. We had a 300 lb guy on a tri moto 125 get away. Granted, this was offroad, but it would only do about 25 MPH with him on it! It was hysterical!

True true! That happened to me, He said I saw him a 1/2 a mile back and he was trying to catch up to me, he finally caught up to me at the red light where I stopped like any other day. He said I was weaving in and out of traffic and got up to the high speed of 85 miles an hour trying to evade him. I said I usually always go 80-85 and move around cars. Anyway, he threw me on the ground, towed my , and sent me to jail. I had my headphones on, my tinted visor on my Arai helmet, and the entire distance he was trying to catch up to my was the curved road from west road to 290 on Hwy 6. By the way, it was 9 in the morning. You never now what to expect from a cop when they pull you over.
