AGV helmets?

Anybody got one? If so, how do you like compared to Shoei's or Arai's?

Currently I'm using the free lid I got with my bike but definetly would like a new helmet, but didn't have any info on the AGV's.

Both the Shoei's and Arai's fit well...haven't tried an AGV yet.

Appreciate any input.

i have the ti tech and i really like it, it fits me better than Arai, they do run a bit smaller than the other brands.

i have a gp-tech and i have not worn a better fitting helmet. they do run 1 size small. i think yamaha motorsports on 1960 has some. will really depend on the shape of your head though. suomys are great helmets too.

I have a AGV stealth and a Arai Rx-q. The stealth is a good helmet dont get me wrong, but the Arai blows it out of the water. It seems like to me the AGV flows more air, but the Arai is way more comfortable and quiet.

I have a flat black k3 with the black visor. It works for a cheap lid that was only 160ish

If I stay with AGV it might be a Titech or a GPtech next... who knows.

I've got S4.
fits great, vents really nice, i have to close the front vent during cooler days.
on the front the helmet comes really close to my chin and i don't have a long chin either. so at speed it pushes against my face kinda hard, but it's not a big deal.
i'd suggest you should try one just to make sure it fits your head.
shark helmets are also great!

I would go with the Arai over AGV, most arai's feel like I am wearing a pillow.... oh so comfortable.

I have the AGV GP Tech and I absolutely love it. I have a Shoei RF1100 and used to have an Arai RXQ. Neither compare to the AGV in comfort but the Shoei does vent a little better.

AGV Ti Tech FTW,
fantastic fit, not as light as the top end Arai's but way way quieter,
Shoei's just don't fit me right,
Try before you buy,
head shape and size makes all the difference.

I have got Arai and I love them and it fits me better than AGV. In terms of safety, Arai claims to have raised the bar with the new RX7 GP. Arai is ranked Number One in customer satisfaction in all eight J.D. Power And Associates Motorcycle Helmet Satisfaction Studies.

AGV's run a bit more snug than arai's. i think arai's are a lot more comfortable but i love my AGV Ti-Tech over my Arai. Will be trying a agv gp-tech next. 2wheeltoyz carries agv and arai. go check em out and see what fits u best.

I have a AGV Rossi 5 Continents GP Tech and love it. I also have 2 Arai RX7 and really think they are very comparable. They do run a bit small but I think they are more true to size than Arai's.
