Whats the main cause of low side?

I've been riding for about 2 months now and my main fear is leaning the bike hard to turn fast i.e: FM 149, my question is whats the main cause of low siding... sliding out? what are some things i can do the help me overcome my fear? I deff. look where i want to go and look through the turn but im just scared to lean the bike...

any feedback is cool

in my opinion its how comfortable you are with your bike, I road mine over a year before i realized just how far i could get off the bike and lean ya know? Give it some time, get comfortable with it. Have fun!

ive felt my front end slide a quite a few times...
its not fun.. but u get used to it

the MAIN thing u wanna do is.. get as FARRR off the bike as u possibly can...

the further ur off the bike.. the straighter ur bike will stand up i.e more traction..

just over exaggerate on getting off ur bike.. and when u go into turns ull be thinkin ok.. i couldve done that alot faster...

main reason 600SS bikes are baad beginner bikes. they either instill confidence (when the skills are lacking), which leads to accidents cuz the rider is riding over his head. OR fear, becuase the ft end is so twitchy, they feel like the bike is gonna fall over when a little input is put into place

cbr ryder, 1) take it M/U and let patrick set your suspension up, like $25-30. 2) look thru the turn at where you wanna be vs where your at. smooth throttle, SLOW/LOOK/PRESS/ROLL 3) practice, take it easy it'll come to you. you've only been riding 2mos., after years you'll be as good as scherctex (who's been riding a few months longer then you )

haha thats cool... didnt realize that i had to have the suspension set up for me... i dont really want to dump a whole bunch of money into this bike if i wanna upgrade in a lil while, but $30 sounds reasonable.... are clovers a good way to pratice?

IMO. no, too tight. just takes experience and confidence in the tires. get to a trackday.

upgrade........lol.......like your gonna be faster on a faster bike, WRONG, you'll go thru the clovers at the same speed if not slower on a 1k.

its more fun to ride a "slow" bike fast, then a fast bike slow.

600RR = less confidence inspring then your F3. means you'll really be afraid to lean.......oh well.
