Almost ate DOO DOO BUTTER today....

I was riding this morning down the same street I've ridden on for two years and over the same 4 inch gap I ridden on a 100 times, but this proved an eventful morning. Guess I didn't hit the crack diagonally enough and my front tire got sucked in. I was already leaned to the left accelerating and probably doing 30 to 35. Basically I was practically thrown two and a half lanes over into the on coming traffic lanes. Luckily, the road was free of traffic. Right as the bike was about to slam down on it's left side, I did a foot plant and managed to keep the bike up and guide it back to my side of the road. When I planted my foot, I was still going fast enough to drag my boot hard enough to cause my toes to hurt. The funny thing is, I haven't worn my riding boots in two months of riding. Had I been wearing my shoes I might be missing a toe or two this morning. So I get the bike under control again and finish the ride to work. I walk into my cubicle where my female peer is waiting for me to take over. I bend slightly to put down my back pack and hear a slight rip. I look down and see my crotch is completely ripped open and my junk is bulging through my whitey tighties. The girl thought it would be funny to anounce it to the plant over the radio and is now officially named Meat Gazer

Lol. Nice save. I almost lost my front end Friday when turning into y neighborhood, and there was a nice pile if loose gravel right in the turning radius of my bike. It slipped, but I caught it.

to be honest, that was the first time I was ever truly scared, and I've been in 3 wrecks and about hundred close calls since I started riding in '02. I couldn't believe the bike was even capable of manuvering the way it did. Seriously, I was practically moving sideways rather than forward.

I personally find that would have been a better substitute Thanks for putting doo doo in my supposed vocabulary
