cop's job = enforcing the law

cop's interpretation of law
turn signals = required

they can tell it to the judge on the day of their hearing...

i'm not saying they shouldn't go out to 1960...

i've been out there zillions of times...

it's just when you go out there... expect johnny law to be out there too...

have your shyt in order... or be ready for a ticket...

harassment = repeated, intrusive or unwanted acts, words or gestures that are intended to adversely affect the safety, security or privacy of another, regardless of the relationship between the actor and the intended target.

harassment will be difficult if not impossible to prove in those instances...

lets clarify, i'm betting people were ticketed for not using their signals VS not having them, cuz they aren't required.

if your bike has signals they must work, if not thats OK, but you have to signal w/ your hands.

i still think the sw side of houston is more 12 bar friendly been pulled over on 45 coming back from the exxon before and once they see the 12bar, your pretty much going to jail becuase "cops" are positive you must have been floating it down the freeway

"Mickey Mouse" laws= laws which are punitive, but rarely enforced by police officers.

They are a designated set of laws that can be enforced by officers but address issues that are considered minute by said officers. Examples of such laws would address issues such as: Windows too heavily tinted, Height of the low end of the chasis for your vehicle, the prohibition of neon lights under your vehicle, etc...they allow officers to justify stopping you, giving said officer probable cause. Bullshyt laws but if you leave yourself open to them, they are valid and punitive...I will say though that in my experience DA's will drop these most of the time.

you have PP1 and ASI on the sw side

asi is a empty parking lot of course a few people will do one or two wheelies on the side street and you have the once in a blue moon race that takes place.....but would the cops rather have us doing this on a freeway somewhere where innocent people in cars will be affected?

for instance last night the taco c ricer crowd didnt show up. NO street racing took place one guy did 2 wheelies on the street until he realized he looked stupid.

other than that it was pretty laid back until the 3 cops and the ghetto bird showed up and told every one to get out into the street......

didn't you claim ASI was closed becuase it was getting outta hand........why did the 'bird show up, in anticipation of somebody running, sad but thats the stigma y'all have created.

but your gonna do what you do and they;re gonna do what they do.......

True, but i guess what im getting at isnt it better to have this stuff at a spot like asi or put it back on the streets like the days of the hooligans where everyone runs and people have police chases and they dont never get caught or is that what the police want to happen?

Not true. The law is that if your bike came from the factory w/ turn siganls, they are required and have to be in working order...

If there are turn signals on your bike, THEY MUST FUNCTION. They are NOT REQUIRED to be on your bike, however.
